Editorial and corrections policy

At Livo we publish content about shift management, healthcare employment and the organisation of care teams. This page explains who writes it, who reviews it and what we do when we get something wrong.

Who writes and who reviews

  • The articles are written by the Livo team.
  • Before publication they are reviewed by the Livo clinical team, made up of registered nurses and doctors.
  • The clinical review checks that what we say about care practice matches how a facility actually works.

How we use artificial intelligence

  • We use AI tools to help draft and structure our texts.
  • No article is published without a person reading it, correcting it and signing it off.
  • Responsibility for what we publish is always Livo’s, never the tool’s.

Which sources we use

  • When we give a figure, we link to the primary source: the INE, Eurostat, the WHO, the Spanish Ministry of Health or equivalent bodies.
  • We keep the data separate from our interpretation of it.
  • We do not use figures we cannot verify at their original source, however widely they circulate in the press.

Sponsored content

  • We do not publish sponsored content or affiliate links.
  • If we ever did, it would be marked visibly within the article itself.

Dates and updates

  • Every article shows its publication date.
  • When we update an article, the update date is recorded.
  • We update a text when the data it cites changes, or when the practice it describes has changed.

Corrections

  • We correct any incorrect figure as soon as we spot it or someone tells us about it.
  • We do not delete an article to hide a mistake. We correct it in place, and the update date reflects that.
  • If the mistake changes the meaning of what was published, we say so in the article itself.
  • To report a mistake, write to data@getlivo.com. We review every report we receive.
